My Checklist


  • New Appointment Comes in

  • add in the correct annual KWH if you dont have the correct, add as much as you need to in order to reflect their stated average electric bills
  • Make sure the tarrifs are set correctly for the utility company you are selling in
  • Select my Panels
  • Select roof type
  • Add battery or Not
  • Go into finance section
  • Verify the Base 2.35ppw is correct by switching to cash and zeroing out the margin
  • choose your loan option or cash price
  • i Always add in the main service panel upgrade at $2000 incase they need it regardless of images given (because it looks cool when you reduce their overall price by $2000 when they dont need it)
  • add in the extended 25 year inverter warranty adder ($12 per panel)
  • add your Solar resolutions appointment adder of 0.30 in the margin and then add your margin on top of that.
  • go to bottom of app and select review agreement and sign up
  • add in the home owners info and select "looks good, proceed to proposal"
  • You are ready to rock and roll
  • then i go upload all costs into the early pay off calculator and start using the utility bill analyzer with their average electric rates and compare their total 25 year lifecycle costs and savings.

Top Ten Things to gather from Home Owner


  • 12 Month Utility Usage History
  • Ground Mount or on the Roof?
  • Is the home in a trust?
  • Is the home in an HOA
  • MSP main breaker size
  • Age of Home
  • Age of Roof (last time replaced)
  • What type of roofing material?
  • How long have they owned the home
  • Is their Credit above 650
  • Future plans for home Pool/Spa/AC/Electric Car, moving away etc...
  • Is the home in a trust? if so get a certificate of trust at time of signing showing they are primary allowed to make decisions for the property.
